In response to the humanitarian emergency caused by the two powerful earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, Thank You Doctor! has launched an emergency relief campaign to support the humanitarian efforts of Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) in partnership with I Love Venezuela, helping deliver critical aid to the communities most affected.
The earthquakes, which occurred just minutes apart, caused significant structural damage, displaced thousands of families, and created an urgent need for food, clean water, hygiene products, and emergency supplies. Thanks to its rapid-response model, GEM has already deployed assessment teams and begun distributing life-saving assistance on the ground.
Through this initiative, Thank You Doctor! is calling on individuals, businesses, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to join the relief effort by donating essential supplies and volunteering to help prepare humanitarian shipments bound for Venezuela.
Priority needs include non-perishable food, bottled water, Meals Ready-to-Eat (MREs), first aid kits, flashlights, batteries, power banks, water filters, personal hygiene items, diapers, baby care products, tents, sleeping bags, new blankets, cleanup and repair tools, as well as food and supplies for pets.
Donations are accepted daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Global Empowerment Mission logistics center located at 1850 NW 84th Ave., Suite 100, Doral, Florida 33126. Volunteers are also urgently needed to assist with packing and preparing humanitarian aid shipments.
Please note that Global Empowerment Mission does not accept donations of clothing, shoes, linens, or similar items. Donors are encouraged to contribute only the supplies listed among the organization’s priority needs.
